Website design & launch - SMD Ltd

This website design project happened a little while ago but has been an ongoing project for some time now. SMD Ltd are a construction company based in St Neots who needed a fresh, modern design for their website as they moved into new premises, expanded their business and took on a new brand image to go with their expansion.

Following the initial on-site visit where we all spoke at length about the business, it's history, ethos and future plans, a working design was produced online to ensure that we were both on the same design page as each other. Working on a cloud based system rather than static mockups of website pages allows for a smoother, more seamless amendment and development process. There followed an iterative phase of refining the website to ensure that we included the right case studies, services, company information and other details until the site was ready to represent the company accordingly.

The design of this website was the second project that I have worked on with the marketing contact for this company have previously worked on their Huntingdon based company and it is always a pleasure to work from a recommendation as such.

The website contained plenty of white space and mixed modern, clean lines with shades of grey and bright green to bring vibrant, fresh design to frame their visually inspiring designs without taking the limelight from the product.
